“Everything looks so great on the Unlocked site!Thank you so much for the priority on those”

Patrick Kretzler, Field Communications Lead, Microsoft

Concept

A key element of the campaign was the innovative use of stickers — an accessible, interactive design tool.

The stickers were layered in a deliberate, controlled chaos, visually symbolizing the power of collective participation. The message was clear: while each individual sticker represents a single vote, together they form a powerful, unified image.

Approach

To resonate with a younger demographic, the design team employed a mix of modern typography styles and vibrant colors.

3D backgrounds

The campaign featured a 3D background created with the same sticker designs, providing a dynamic digital experience. This multi-dimensional design approach was crucial in bridging traditional print with digital innovation, ensuring engagement across different mediums.

Coloring book

The coloring book was an exciting addition that translated the vibrant sticker designs into black-and-white illustrations, offering an interactive, tactile way for people to engage with the campaign. By reinforcing the campaign’s visual identity, it also gave people a fun, hands-on opportunity to creatively connect with its message.

Challenge

One of the primary challenges was ensuring that the design maintained consistency across multiple platforms and formats, including social media assets, animations, and merchandise.

Duration

Two months of meticulous, thoughtful work — knowing it’s all for something bigger. Would do it again.

Review

“The portrait graphics are really beautiful. Thank you so much.”
