New Business & Marketing Director

O0 is a full-stack design studio, focused on working with product teams and driving positive change. We design brands, products (digital and physical), marketing campaigns, produce live-action and animated videos.
O0 is cloud-based. We work remotely with a distributed team on a flexible schedule. We have exceptional documentation and processes to sustain that. What’s the job:
We are looking for a dynamic New Business & Marketing Director to propel studio growth and profile. Position requires a strong mix of skills: business, sales and marketing, negotiation, proposal development, people leadership. Your ultimate goal is to bring our stellar design services to the world’s most impactful companies. You will build a comprehensive outbound sales pipeline, effectively manage inbound leads, invest in studio PR and communication to attract the best prospects. You will be reporting to the General Manager.
- Develop an outbound new business plan, identify key opportunities and markets
- Identify the most potent business verticals, communication channels and messages
- Develop new business RFI and RFP documentation
- Understand and connect partners’ business needs to O0 value proposition
- Develop a comprehensive studio pitch, improve it over time
- Track, monitor, and report on the partner pipeline through a CRM tool
- Maintain knowledge database for studio case studies and thought leadership
- Build a prominent studio brand to attract best inbound leads through media, events and awards
- Integrate 3rd party business scouts to maximize lead generation opportunities
- Focus on metrics, manage dashboards, produce clear reports for cross-team updates
- Forecast future revenue streams
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience in studio/agency business development, demonstrable success with winning major accounts
- Experience acquiring Fortune-100 or Fortune-1000 businesses is preferred
- Understanding integrated, cross-functional pitches across advertising, promotion, brand identity, digital marketing, strategy, and planning
- Demonstrate superior written skills for RFP requests
- Excellent interpersonal skills and EQ
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Effective communication style for cross-team collaboration
- Strong desire for self-improvement, learning, searching for best practices and industry insights
- Familiarity with analytics, basic math principles
- Strong network with product startups and mature businesses is a plus
- Confidence, can-do attitude
