What it's like

O0 is a full-stack cloud design studio that started as part of the tech startup Petcube. We partner with innovative companies around the world, including Microsoft, Xbox, Google, Toyota, and Y-Combinator startups. Our team is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a talented Content Writer to join our marketing department. With the Marketing Manager and SMM specialist already in place, we need someone to lead the content strategy for O0 and our non-profit project Spend with Ukraine, build our brands, and boost our traffic.

In collaboration with the marketing team, you'll plan, write, and produce a wide variety of content to support marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives. You will work with key stakeholders and experts, creating content that stands out among competitors and enriches your portfolio.

What’s the job

  • Execute a content plan for the O0 and SWU, aligned with the marketing strategy.
  • Create compelling, visually appealing, and valuable content, including case studies, paid ad creatives, white papers, email newsletters, website pages, articles and their adaptations for social media.
  • Write, edit, and proofread, ensuring the content aligns with our unique Tone of Voice. This tone reflects the O0 brand’s personality , and we put a lot of effort into keeping every piece of content coherent. We expect you to keep it up and develop even further. 
  • Communicate O0’s expertise to establish thought leadership and raise prospect awareness with content that educates and solves business challenges.
  • Monitor key website metrics, track performance, and continuously implement SEO optimization for published content.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, the world’s most notable events, and the latest news to identify opportunities for situational viral content.
  • Stay up-to-date with Google algorithm updates.
  • Practice social listening.

What you’ll need

  • 1+ year of experience as a content writer, with a portfolio of published content relevant to the position.
  • Interest in design, tech, and visual communications trends.
  • Understanding of the B2B customer journey and how to build, deliver, and measure content that accelerates top, middle, and bottom-of-funnel results.
  • Skill in translating technical concepts and information into data-supported stories with memorable messages that connect with different audience segments.
  • Apply best practices and approaches for content creation (JTBD, customer journey map, etc.).
  • Disdain for clichéd expressions and the ability to distinguish high-quality articles from “copy & paste” work.
  • Quick learner with the capability to address content challenges rapidly, along with genuine curiosity, discipline, rationalism, thoroughness, and proactivity.
  • Fluent English with excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Ukrainian courage is a must.‍

Would be a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the IT sector.
  • Understanding of design studio content specifications.
  • Marketing proficiency.
