Task
VizoLabs needs a cohesive foundation that supports three distinct but interdependent needs:

1. a credible, investor-ready brand and outward-facing presence,

2. a clear and restrained public landing experience, and

3. a functional, well-designed internal Collector Portal that makes contributing data intuitive, trustworthy, and repeatable.

The work must establish a brand system that can scale across investors, enterprise data buyers, and contributors, while also delivering a usable product interface that makes recording, submitting, watching, and managing contributions feel straightforward and motivating. The Collector Portal is not a marketing artifact; it is an operational tool, and its UI/UX must prioritize clarity, incentives, and behavioral stickiness over visual novelty.
Given VizoLabs’s stage and upcoming institutional raise, the project must be sequenced so that early brand and web outputs can be deployed quickly, while deeper product design work progresses in parallel without blocking development or onboarding flows. All deliverables need to be production-ready, internally legible, and designed to evolve as the platform expands beyond its initial contributor cohorts.

Approach
The engagement is structured to establish a strong foundation early, move quickly where possible, and allow deeper product work to continue without blocking launch-critical surfaces.

We begin with brand work as the anchor for the entire system. Over the first three weeks, we define and lock the core brand direction, visual language, and application rules. This phase establishes the constraints and signals that guide all subsequent design decisions across web and product.

While brand work is underway, we move directly into designing the public-facing landing page. Designing this surface in parallel allows us to maintain momentum and ensures the brand is immediately tested in real application rather than in isolation.

Once the website designs reach sufficient clarity, we transition into development. The site is built, QA’d, and deployed as a production-ready foundation, aligned closely with the approved design system and structured for iteration.

In parallel, the Product track begins once the brand reaches a critical level of definition. This work focuses on the internal Collector Portal and runs longer than the website build itself. Product design progresses from structure and user journeys through to detailed UI, prototypes, and handoff materials, ensuring the portal is designed as a functional system rather than a static interface. While the product lives within the broader site ecosystem, its timeline reflects its greater complexity and operational importance.

This sequencing allows the public website to ship without waiting on the full product, while ensuring that product design benefits from a stable brand foundation and uninterrupted focus. Each phase is designed to produce usable outputs, reduce rework, and move the system closer to real-world operation.
